Juniper & Hare began with a quiet moment on an evening walk with my dogs - the captivating sight of a moongazing hare, perfectly still as the light faded over the fields of the Essex countryside. It was a powerful reminder of the restorative power of the natural world and a spark that led to a simple desire - to share a small piece of nature’s quiet magic.

The Symbols of Renewal 

Our name and logo are a map of our values, inspired by the enduring symbols that first caught my eye in the dusk: 

The Moongazing Hare: A sentinel of the seasons, representing the gentle wisdom of nature and the soul’s journey toward the light.

The Crescent Moon: An ancient symbol of new beginnings and the promise of growth as the stars emerge.

The Juniper Bough: A grounding essence that has protected and purified spaces for centuries. Modern science reflects this ancient wisdom; the alpha-pinene found in our namesake Juniper is a natural purifier, scientifically linked to lowering stress and providing clarity.
